We're Experts In Estate Planning Law
Our expertise in Probate Estate Administration and Estate Planning covers everything from the preparation of simple Last Will and Testaments, Durable Power of Attorneys and Living Wills, to the start to finish probate administration of small, medium and large estates. We handle the preparation and filing of all estate and inheritance related tax returns and provide a full range of Will, Trust and/or Orphans’ Court litigation services.
The Probate Process
Probate is the formal process by which an Executor or Administrator is appointed by the Register of Wills Office to oversee the administration of a loved one’s Estate. The process is typically initiated by obtaining either Letters Testamentary (if there is a Will) or Letters of Administration (if the Decedent died without having made a Will).
The Steps We Take
- We’ll petition the court to have you appointed as either Executor or Administrator
- We'll assist you in securing and managing all of the estate assets
- We'll deal with the claims of any and all creditors of the estate
- We'll prepare and file the necessary inheritance and estate tax returns
- We'll prepare the pleadings required to close the estate and make a final distribution of the estate assets
Don't Pay Hourly Fees!
When you agree to hire an estate attorney on an hourly basis, you will literally have no idea what you're actually going to pay until you get to the end of the probate process. You may be in for an unpleasant surprise when you find out just how much you've been paying for those phone calls, letters and other communications. We provide our flat fee agreements in writing so you'll know in advance exactly how much you're going to pay and we also don't expect to be paid until the probate process has been completed.
Serving Your Needs
We've been assisting clients throughout Western Pennsylvania with all of their Estate Planning and Probate Estate Administration needs with competency, compassion and care for over 25 years. Give us a call today at 412-381-7370 to schedule your free legal consultation. You'll be glad you did.
Affordable Flat Fees
Unlike the vast majority of Estate law firms, we offer most of our Probate Estate Administration and Executor assistance services on an affordable flat fee basis. We also do not expect to be paid for our services until the estate administration process has been completed. You'll know precisely what you're going to pay in advance and you'll have our fee agreement in writing.
